Meet the Owner

Back in 2002 John Wells the owner started the business has now more than 100 clients and has about 40 cleaners. Born in Watford, lived he’s younger life in Abbots Langley, moved in 1980 to Hemel Hempstead near the Marina in Apsley.

He started work as a mechanical Engineering apprentice in a local Watford based Company, went on to take a Master Engineering Degree in Manufacturing at Hertfordshire University, Hatfield.

Owing to the decline in manufacture John decided to start up he’s own business, initially deciding to get involved with a well known national home cleaning franchise, he ran this for 10 years obtaining extensive training in marketing and administration and gaining lots of experience in dealing with clients and cleaners. In 2012 he decided branched out on he’s own calling the new Company “Apsley Domestic Cleaners”.

John lives life to the full; does golf, walking, socialising, travelling, reading, chess, on the committee of a local social club and is a member of a local golf club.

Linda is John’s girl Friday helping with the office work and the general running of the company, always works with a smile and a friendly manner.
